Sometimes we really have to stop and count our blessings
Otherwise we become really jaded and we start lamenting about every litle thing. And before long you turn into one of those crabby people you have always loved to hate.
My papercut is itching like hell and when I tried to put on my toner this morning, it stung.
Blessing of the day: The fact that it is itching means healing is in progress. And it probably means I'm healthy and good to go.
On another note, here's a good way to avoid being reprimanded for being late to work:
Call in sick. Then show up as late as you like, and say you've decided to come in anyway because there is simply too much work and you cannot rest well.
You might even make your boss feel bad.

That Ass.
I don't want to be a job-hopper.
I really wanted to stay in this job for a long time so that my resume don't look too screwed up. But that's hardly a good reason to stick around in a job, or is it?
But my boss is really getting on everybody's last nerve.
Just now he screamed at one of my female colleagues, saying "FORGOT? WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU FORGOT? WHERE ARE YOUR BRAINS? DO YOU FORGET HOW MANY MEN YOU SLEEP WITH AS WELL?"
All she had forgotten was to move yesterday's report from the folder to his in-tray and he couldn't find it this morning before our daily morning briefing.

Comfort is like a warm lava cake
Out of the birthday presents I received this year, the one from my not-so-little little brother meant the most because of the little note:
"The haze is bad, so use the bottle to drink more water to stay pretty. And since you always work till so late, the big towel should be comfortable after a hot shower. Happy birthday!"
